Prayer Point: That the Spirit of Christ would empower the church of Christ in our region.
Prayer: Father in heaven and Lord of the church, we come before You in reverence for Your pure and priceless presence that fills the earth as the waters cover the sea. We honor and worship You as the head of the global church, and we thank You for the gift of Your Spirit that fills the body of Christ in the Avalon region. When Your Spirit rests on us we are constrained by Your love. Your Spirit of wisdom and understanding fills us with creativity and compassion, and Your Spirit of counsel and might is what makes us winsome in our weakness. May the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord renew us, patiently suffer with us, embolden us, keep us from stumbling, and sustain us in God’s presence with great joy. Amen.
